“The SAE Foundation’s STEM educational programs are vital to ensuring we ignite the passion for math and science in young students who will be the future leaders of the automobile industry. At a recent SAE A World in Motion third-grade Skimmer project, I was especially gratified to see students having so much fun applying key principles of math and science.”

AWIM has one of the broadest program reaches of any STEM program serving students in the U.S. Since 1990, the program has experienced an evolution exceeding the pace of other science and technology STEM programming in every case. Since program inception, we have directly serviced over 5,000,000 students in the classroom. AWIM is research proven to not only increase student performance and attitudes toward STEM, it's also improving teacher preparedness and comfort in delivering STEM instruction in the traditional classroom setting.

Getting started with the A World In Motion program is easy. Activity provides for immediate impact in specific corporate communities and beyond. There are a variety of ways we can help your organization achieve local STEM and workforce development needs. Your organization has many options that can include all/any of the following.
We design programs, with AWIM at the core, to provide the most impact your corporate volunteers can have in a school setting. Gone are the days of career days and one-off speeches to groups for students.
AWIM STEM Initiatives are specifically designed to help you meet community or region workforce development needs using AWIM as a base program for outreach – you use AWIM to meet your specific outreach goals and we design the program and facilitate relationships with local schools.
If you don’t have the resources to provide volunteers or target communities, general support of AWIM distribution is an option that provides for program activity in areas of greatest need.
